FITNESS TRAINING
Brenda has been involved in the fitness industry for over sixteen years. She started teaching weekly “balance & joint movement” classes in assisted living, that followed with “strength & cardio” on the independent side and a “balance and resistance training” class in the on-site gym at a local retirement community. She was the Fitness Trainer at Maravilla for over seven years.
Brenda designs and implements personalized strength training and cardio programs for clients. She has experience in all aspects of fitness training but her passion lies in working with older adults.
Brenda’s skill set is primarily post physical therapy including balance and fall risk reduction, proper biomechanics, gait analysis, progressive strength development, training specific to maintaining daily living activities (DLA's) and increased functional mobility. Brenda enjoys working with obese and senior clients and those wishing to continue their rehabilitation program after insurance runs out, thus strength, mobility and fall risk reduction are a primary focus. She works with clients of varying skill levels and physical limitations, specializing in senior fitness.
Brenda can help you increase your level of fitness and confidence to feel your personal best. No matter what your goals are she can help you reach them. She loves health and fitness and is excited to help anyone achieve a more healthful state of being.

NUTRITION
Brenda is a nutritionist and supports clean living and the consumption of pure whole foods. She works as a Health Coach and Nutrition Consultant, helping clients with basic and targeted nutrition, including digestive issues, heart health, immune enhancement, stress management, weight loss, athletic performance, energy and fitness. Her main interest and focus is nutritional disease prevention and specializes in DNA preservation and health protection.
PERSONAL WEIGHT LOSS
Brenda has worked in the weight loss industry for over thirteen years and has also worked as a private Personal Chef on the beach in Montecito; thus including a Master of Science in Nutrition, she is well versed in all aspects of food. Brenda has helped clients lose literally hundreds of pounds and keep it off. She provides you with "in store" grocery shopping guidance, meal planning, recipes, strategies and a custom nutrition plan personalized for your success.
