As a fitness professional, Brenda can help you set realistic goals and transform your health and your life for the better. She can help you look and feel your best, while enjoying yourself along the way.

Brenda was born and raised in Santa Barbara, as were her parents and grandparents. She has always been athletic, enjoying volleyball, skating and playing competitive soccer for over twenty years. Brenda's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Health, a Master of Science in Nutrition, as well as two Fitness Certifications. She is Certified Fitness Trainer with an additional certification as a  Specialist in Senior Fitness. This qualifies her to work with clients of all ages and varying medical and physical limitations.

The majority of Brenda’s clients are referrals from physical therapists, thus she does a lot of post physical therapy as well as balance/gait analysis and correction, fall prevention assessment and general strength development to ensure skills in daily living activities. Brenda follows both the “Otago Exercise Program” developed in New Zealand by the New Zealand Falls Prevention Research Group and the "Fall Proof" program developed by Cal. State Fullerton. These programs are scientifically based and proven to increase balance, muscle strength, flexibility, and reaction time, and can reduce your risk of falling.
